Frankfurt: Three new A380 connections

Frankfurt Airport © Fraport AGIn winter 2011/12 Frankfurt airport will receive three new A380 connections. At the beginning of 2012 Singapore Airlines A380 will come to Germany. Starting January 15th the airline will fly from Frankfurt to Singapore and New York. The departure of flight SQ26 to John-F-Kennedy-Airport New York will be at 8:20 a.m. and to Changi Airport (Singapore) at 11:50 a.m.. Already starting December 1st Korean Air's flight plan contains the A380 connection Frankfurt-Seoul. Up to now only Lufthansa is servicing Frankfurt with an A380.

Singapore Airlines: Larger Business Class

A380 of Singapore Airlines © Singapore AirlinesSingapore Airlines' latest A380 comes with a new configuration. The upper deck is exclusively reserved for the Business Class. With 86 seats this second version has 26 more Business Class seats the the first version. The main deck is reserved for the 12 First Class suites and 311 Economy Class seats.
